Does it use batteries for sensor? Yes, you'll need to prepare 4pcs AA batteries as they are not included in the packaging.

Will the faucet work when the batteries die? Sure, when the battery is low, switch to the touch-on mode by resetting the control valve button to continue using the faucet.

Is there a low battery indication? Yes. If the battery is low, the light will blink. After replacing with new 4pcs AA batteries, the touchless mode will function normally.

Why isn't the touchless mode working? First, check if the faucet handle is in the open position. Next, check if the 4 AA batteries have enough power. Then, check the cables between the control valve and the battery box for correct installation (refer to the use manual).
